Decleor Aroma Night night balm review

When I received a sample of this product, I instantly knew it was not meant for me. Nonetheless, I decided to try it out.
The substance inside turned put to be a very thick balm which reminded me of organic balms such as Figs &Rouge lip balm. As instructed, I warmed a small amount in my hands, at which point the substance turned into a kind of dense oil, and tried to massage my face. The consistency, even when warmed up, was too thick to make any sort of gentle massage possible so I ended up tapping the thing onto my face. It's quite possible that the "small amount " I used was too small to cover my face and thus refused to apply like buttter, but on the other hand the balm is so greasy that I feared waking up with millions of breakouts all over my face.
To my great surprise there were none in the morning and my face felt incredibly soft to touch. Really amazing! It's only on very rare occassions that I experience something like this!

Aroma Night, true to its name has a strong herbal smell which didn't appeal to my taste very much. But I think the volatile ingredients might have some aromatherapeutic effect.

The full size product is sold in 15ml jars with a price tag of around $40 which makes this product too expensive for my liking.
It's intended for all skin types but I still believe that in the long run it's too greasy to be used on oily skin such as mine.
I'm not going to purchase it full size but I wouldn't mind using a sample every now and then.
