Covergirl Clump Crusher vs Max Factor Clump Defy mascara

Today I'd like to briefly compare 2 mascaras by two different brands owned by one parent company, sold for 2 different markets which are supposedly the same. The comparison is going to be brief cause they are indeed the same. I have already written a full review of the Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara so if you're interested to know what it is like click  here.

First of all, the differences is that the Covergirl Clump Crusher is sold in bright green tubes, sealed tightly so no one can tamper with it, while the Max Factor Clump Defy one comes in a much prettier burgundy packaging, but it is not sealed in any way, not even shrinkwrapped so can be opened, touched, swatched, in other words contaminated by anybody.

Otherwise the mascaras are the same. he brushes are identical, if they seem slightly different in the picture below it's only because I found it hard to hold them at precisely the same angle and take a picture at the same time. I've tested both mascaras one on one eye, the other one on another and I didn't notice any difference in the formula, application, result and staying power. So, European girls, there's no need to crave the American mascara, just grab your Clump Defy, you'll get the same product in all respects.

Disclaimer: I bought the product myself for my personal use and I am not affiliated with any company. I am not paid to do this review and everything I said here is my genuine opinion.

  1. Lovely! I was wondering about that, as I live in Northern Europe!
