Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Adjunctive Hydrating Care SPF30 review

Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Adjunctive Hydrating Care SPF30

I got this sample of Eucerin moisturiser when I was looking for a mattifying cream to help me control the oiliness of my skin.
I'm not the target of this product as I don't suffer from acne and never have but I thought it was worth giving a try at least due to the fact that it contains SPF30.

This product might be priceless for those of us who underwent acne treatment which left their skin extremely dry, yet using moisturisers may cause breakouts to return. This cream is meant to compensate for the irritating and desiccating effects of anti-acne dermatologigal treatments.

Its non-oily formula intensively moisturises and soothes the weakened skins. It reinforces the barrier function of the skin and effectively acts at 3 levels against damages related to anti-acne treatments while protecting the skin from sun damage.

The cream itself has very lightweight , almost mousse-like consistency. It applies easily and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin well-moisturised. The skin doesn't feel oily but it looks glowy. This isn't the kind of cream that I would wear under make-up or on a sunny day cause this would make my face look greasy, which is a pity cause I really appreciate moisturisers with high SPF for the summer. I'm sure those of us whose skin is dehydrated will find this cream a real blessing.
The only thing I really didn't like is the smell. I can't really describe it, but pleasant it is not. Fortunately it's neither strong not long-lasting.
