Soap & Glory Solar Powder review

Solar Powder by Soap & Glory is one of the greatest bronzers in my possession.
It comes in a sleek cardboard packaging with a kind of rubbery feel on the surface and a vintage image of a sunbathing lady on the lid. The magnetically closing lid is equipped with a convenient mirror.

The product itself consists of  two shades of bronzer that initially came with logo embossing and silver overspray, which disappeared after the first use.

Although both shades of the bronzer tend to photograph as if they had yellow undertones, in fact they are way cooler, more taupey with very slight reddish undertones, which that instead of giving you jaundiced look, they will look naturally tan on most skin tones.

The darker shade on the left is a matte shade which is perfect for contouring for my fair skin tone. Upon a closer inspection the shade on the right looks a tiny little bit shimmery, but when applied it tends to have a satin base with a naturally glowing finish. It's quite fair, so fair-skinned ladies don't need to be particularly careful and light-handed. It's a kind of slap on and go product that will instantly give you a beautiful, healthy, naturally tanned look.
I sometimes use these two separately, contour with the dark one and blend in with the lighter shade, but most of the time I just swirl the two with a fluffy kabuki brush (by ELF) and apply in 3s on the external perimeters of my face.
It's such an easy-to-use, naturally blendable, foolproof, go-to product that it has become one of my favourite bronzers of all time.

Disclaimer: I bought the product myself for my personal use and I am not affiliated with any company. I am not paid to do this review and everything I said here is my genuine opinion.
