Benefit Pocket Pal - benetint & gloss

I bought Benetint with the intention of wearing it on my lips cause it promised to stain lips almost permanently, which was exactly what I wanted for the long hours I spend at work. Unfortunately in this respect this product is hopeless. It's far too thin and watery to apply properly. While it does have some effect on my lower lip, try as I might I simply cannot get a trace of colour on the upper one. I can't explain that. And what's more whatever colour is deposited on my lip it looks very uneven - here the name of the product "lip stain" becomes strangely appropriate.

Fortunately, Benetint is a multiple and it can be used also as a cheek stain. I would have never expected it to work for me, I thought I wouldn't be able to blend it enough to make it look natural. But since I already had the product I thought I might as well give it a go and I was pleasantly surprised. Blending wasn't as difficult as I thought (though you do need to be quick)  and the blush looks really natural and nice, especially on my cool toned complexion. The only disadvantage is that it permanently stains my fingers and I haven't found any appropriate tool for blending except my fingers.

I guess I don't need to mention the fact that I don't use the gloss as I don't use it as lip product. Perhaps I'll use it up over some other lipstick.
