Korean goodies: Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask review

Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask is meant to purify skin by opening up pores thanks to the heat it produces.
Fortunately, this mask was not as hot as I'd expected. It felt pleasantly warm but nothing close to the burning face sensation.
The mask resembles a face scrub with visible black particles which I gather are coarsely ground black sesame seeds and masses of smaller grains which feel like fine sand. You need to massage it on your face and then leave on for about 5 minutes.
After using this mask my skin did indeed feel purified and exfoliated and very nice and smooth. I don't think this mask offers any nourishment to your skin. It seems to me that this product is closer to a scrub than a mask so getting a decent face mask to complete skin care is recommended.

EDIT: This mask smells very 'natural', sort of like rapeseed oil, though for sure this is the fragrance of black sesame seeds, which I don't know from my everyday experience. What I want to say is that this mask is not perfumed so if you're looking for an olfactory pleasure, this mask isn't for you.
