According to the manufacturer, this mask is supposed to have skin repairing, firming and moisturising effect due to the fact that among other valuable ingredients the mask contains copper peptide complex (reduces wrinkles by stimulating collagen), coenzyme Q10 (to stimulate cell growth) and EGF (epidermal growth factor to restore skin to the best condition possible).
My first impression during the use was that the shape was really weird. It was well matched for my face from the forehead to little below my eyes and then extremely long along the nose. I know my face is rather round but I don't believe many people have their faces sooo long only in their nose area. I had to fold the mask on my cheeks but still the hole for my lips ended up on my chin. Very irritating.
The product itself was an odourless sticky substance which instantly brought snail mucus into my mind. During application I had this weird stinging/itching feeling which made me worry about the possibility of an allergic reaction. Fortunately, nothing happened but wearing a mask is supposed to be this pampering, relaxing moment just for you and you shouldn't keep worrying about how this home spa is gonna end.
As for the effects, I didn't notice anything except the fact that my skin was really well-hydrated. I do realise that one application may not be enough for the product to work, however, there are masks which have this immediate "wow" effect and I'd rather stick to them.
