Today I'd like to review Dior Hydra Life BB Cream, which I bought after a super positive experience with the BB eye cream from the same line. This BB cream turned out to be one of the best BB creams I've used, no matter what origin or price tag.

This BB cream applies like a dream. You can use both your fingers or your brush, I prefer a buffing brush just because I don't quite like fingers covered with foundation. Hydra Life BB cream offers a surprisingly high coverage, which I would describe as medium. It covers all major imperfections and evens out the skin tone, blurring all kinds of discolouration. It's lightweight and looks incredibly natural.

I have oily skin and tend to use this BB cream instead of my morning moisturiser as it claims to combine properties of a foundation with protective and hydrating benefits of a skincare product. And I must say I'm very pleased with the results both make-up and skincare wise.
Most people recommend this BB cream for normal to dry skin types, and I do agree completely, but even on my oily skin I get naturally glowy satin finish, which doesn't turn to oil slick during the day. I set it with a matifying powder and this makes the BB cream last most of my day.
Apart from that, this BB cream offers relatively high sun protection, SPF 30 and has a lovely, luxurious scent.

Unfortunately there's one serious drawback. I bought my Hydra Life BB cream in shade #01 Beige Lumiere which turns out to be way too dark for my skin in winter and it fails to self-adjust or blend in like some Korean BB creams do. So, fsir-skinned beauties, who never tan, be careful as there might not be a shade for you. I personally spend a lot of time with my kids outdoors so my skin darkens a bit in the summer, so I'll be able to wear it then.
