Soap & Glory 3-in-1 deep purifying cleanser is not exactly what I thought I was ordering. For some reason I cannot explain I thought this was a foam cleanser, but obviously there's nothing about the packaging or product description that could lead me to believe so.
Anyway, even though it didn't fulfil my expectations, which cannot be fulfilled if you buy the wrong product, I've almost used it up until the moment I'm writing this review.
This is a cleanser that I would strongly recommend for dry skin types.
It cleanses the skin without stripping it of all the oilies. After you rinse your face, you'll notice that your skin is well moisturised and doesn't feel tight at all.
I feel it generally does away with face make-up, although I bought it to double cleanse after using my cleansing pils or balms and mostly use it in that way, so I hardly ever rely on this cleanser as my sole make-up remover.
I must admit, though, that it completely fails with eye make-up. It's not only mascara that it doesn't do away with, but also non-waterproof eyeshadows turn to gooey mess and refuse to move.
It says 3-in-1on the packaging, but I haven't been able to fifure out what are the three things in the bottle as it doesn't seem to replace an eye make-up remover or a toner. Although as I've said, my face feels moisturised, this doesn't mean it's moisturised enough for me to skip my regular moisturiser.
This product has a lovely peach smell that doesn't seem artificial at all. This scent, and the convenient packaging with a pump seem to be the main merits of the product.
All in all, I must say that this is the only skincare product by Soap & Glory that I didn't quite like. It's not terribly bad, but you can certainly get something better.
Disclaimer: I bought the product myself for my personal use and I am not affiliated with any company. I am not paid to do this review and everything I said here is my genuine opinion.
