Geocaching

We've just returned from another wonderful trip into the wild and we've decided to enrich our experiences by joining Geocaching. 

If you've never heard of the thing it's the old idea of treasure hunt combined with orienteering with a modern twist. You log on a Geocaching portal to get the locations of "caches" (treasure chests) and off  you go! For your pursuit you'll need your mobile phone, a trovel, a pair of gloves and trekking boots. By joining Geocaching we hope to introduce an element of fun for our boys and learn about new places.

At first we're going to be given 3 assignments to prove we're worthy of being members, then we'll be able to choose our locations and after finding 10 treasures we'll be able to leave "caches" ourselves!

Summer's coming, I'm sure this is gonna be fun!
