Korean goodies: Evas Vitamin Cleansing Dessert Magic Cream Soap Coconut & Cacao review

I love Korean skincare. I love Korean face washes and cleansers. I love most of the products I get in my Memeboxes. But I didn't quite enjoy this one.

Evas Vitamin Cleansing Dessert Magic Cream Soap Coconut & Cacao came in my first Memebox ever, Memebox Special #11 Cacao.
When I saw the packaging, I gasped. It looked sooo cute. The concept of the product was also very new to me.  It's a thick cream that foams as you massage it on your face, then you 'roll the foams' and rinse it with water.
The product description was also very encouraging. Micro foam particles were supposed to penetrate my pores and leave my face refreshed, clean and smooth.

So why didn't I enjoy this product?
First of all I found the scent unbearably artificial. I just couln't get used to it during the entire two months or so when I was using this cleanser. It was nowhere near cacao, chocolate or coconut, but this concoction must be used in some other products as this smell was strangely familiar.
Another thing was that I didn't really enjoy digging the product out of the jar with my fingers. I feel I used too much as quite a lot of product clung to my fingers when they dived into the jar.
What's more as the product started running low I noticed how inconvenient the packaging was. The neck of the tub was pretty narrow and getting the cream out was not as easy as it should be.
When mixed with water this product left the most peculiar sediment floating on the surface of water in my washbasin which later clung to its bottom, leaving it dirty and gross. I've seen something like this when I visited my granny in the countryside where they had this really hard water from the well. Mine isn't hard at all, but it seems as if this 'Magic Cream' had this superpower to change the quality of water.
Finally, no matter if I massaged this on my dry face or mixed it with water it created no foam that I could 'roll'. This produced rather thick and creamy foam that washed my face nicely without drying it out or making it feel tight. In spite of these decent results, I just reached the point I just couldn't bear it any more and down the bin it went.

Disclaimer: I bought the product myself for my personal use and I am not affiliated with any company. I am not paid to do this review and everything I said here is my genuine opinion.
