Prada Candy Eau de Parfum review

I know it's hard to review perfume and it's absolutely a must to sample the fragrance before bying it. However, I strongly believe that I can help my readers decide whether they might be interested in this particular perfume.

I received this sample as a gift during my Sephora shopping.
The full size bottle doesn't impress me much and neither does the smell. There's something very mature about the smell, I'm trying not to say granny-like but this thought circulates around my mind. No matter what the manufacturer says about the notes of the fragrance, my immediate association is the smell of old-fashioned powder. By no means unpleasant but I prefer this sort of smell on my face, not necessarily on my body.

What is more the scent, which is quite faint from the beginning,  evaporates within minutes. I started to doubt my olfactory senses and asked other people whether they could smell anything. They didn't. I believe high end perfume doesn't need to be strong or offensive but I expect it to last long.

Whether you like a smell or not is a matter of personal taste but the staying power is an objective quality. That's why I can objectively say that Prada could have done better.

Disclaimer: I received this product as a complimentary sample for my personal use and I'm not affiliated with any company. I am not paid to do this review and everything I said here is my personal opinion.
