Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye review

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye
As far as my skin care is concerned, there's only one thing I'm obsessed with - eye creams. When I received a sample of the acclaimed Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye I jumped at the opportunity to try it out.
The cream looks as if it was petroleum-based, the substance is thick and greasy and semi-transparent, the difference being its brownish shade and camphor-like smell.

Upon application it covers the skin with a thick and fairly greasy coat which I don't mind cause it's meant to be an active night cream so there's no risk of smudging my make-up and instead I could get my skin super hydrated.
Unfortunately, when the cream gets absorbed, it leaves my eye area drier than before, even sort of parched and this certainly does not prevent wrinkles.

Sadly, I must say there's nothing I liked about the cream. I'm glad I could test it out before buying cause this prevented me from wasting a lot of money on a product that would most certainly end up in a bin.
