Affordable make-up: NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils in Purple Velvet, French Fries, Rust and Black Bean review

Today I'm going to describe a couple of new additions to my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils. For a full review of the Jumbo Eye Pencils click here.

The new shades include:

1. Purple Velvet is a gorgeous violet purple. Quite dark and with a beautiful sheen.

2. French Fries is mid-toned brown with sheen. It's leans neither towards oranges or golds nor reds nor grays.  

3. Rust is the shade I was unsure about but felt somehow drawn to. It turned out to be such a beautiful shade. Depending on lighing and angle it may look burgundy red or red-toned brown with sheen. Looks surprisingly good on my lids and combines well with a number of eyeshadows on top of it. This is definitely a very unique shade.

4. Black Bean is an opaque matte black, which looks satiny cause it's actually quite greasy. I like to pair it with gold eyeshadow on top.
