The purchase of Vassen Rainbow Eyes Brownish Hazel is a result of my search for perfect brown lenses. The problem is that these lenses are designed for dark brown Korean eyes and on dark brown eyes they certainly look gorgeous. On mine they're reptile yellow.
Of course I didn't buy them without any research, nonetheless I somehow believed that even if they weren't chololate brown they would look Caucasian green. But they don't. So colourwise these are a fail but in other respects they're quite nice.

These lenses are 14.5mm in diameter which makes them medium large but very comfortable to pop in the eye and to wear. They don't tire or irritate my eyes nor do they need any eye drops too often.
I quite like the blendable design although these lenses lack a defined limbal ring so you can see where your iris ends, then some whitish-yellowish area and then some slightly darker outer circle. If they were smaller they'd look more natural.
Because they lack the dark limbal ring the enlargement they offer is much less pronounced than it would be if the ring was darker.

I wear prescription lenses so I use these on days when I don't need to leave home or just go out with my kids to play. I like to wear them cause they're really comfortable. However, if I'd bought these just to show off, I'd be severely disappointed. My experience with these lenses and with Geo Nudy Brown (to be reviewed later) taught me a valuable lesson regarding selection of circle lenses: whatever looks good on Asian eyes doesn't need to look good on mine. And when selecting circle lenses the dark limbal ring is more important than the shade of the lens itself.
